Carver chairs in Aubusson Chalk Paint

I have seen many chairs painted in white or neutral colours and for the first time I wanted to dare something a bit different. I have chosen to paint those two in chalk paint to get this distinctive shabby old look. I love blue hues especially during winter so I went for Aubusson and Old White from Annie Sloan Chalk Paint range.

I heavily sanded the last coat of blue before to wax it. It was quite messy but I like the result. Then I applied two coat of clear wax and buffed it.
